Hello! I'm Sunehra Tazreen, a fresh graduate from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, with a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Data Analytics and a Minor in Economics. I'm passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful insights for smarter business decisions.

Medical Insurance Fraud Detection

 

One impactful project was Medical Insurance Fraud Detection, where machine learning models were applied to millions of healthcare records. The analysis uncovered fraud patterns with high accuracy, showing the potential to save billions in healthcare costs.

This project strengthened my ability to work with big data, feature engineering, and model evaluation, while also teaching the importance of balancing accuracy with recall to address real-world risks.

I then focus on data collection, cleaning, and exploration to ensure quality and reliability. Using the right tools and techniques, I apply statistical methods, visualization, and predictive modeling to uncover meaningful patterns.

Finally, I translate results into actionable recommendations with clear visualizations and concise storytelling, ensuring stakeholders can make informed decisions.
